The COVID Journal

Yesterday was a beautiful day to take care of the yards. We got the yards for the house and camp all mowed and manicured. We have restocked all our goods and supplies, so we are ready for the week and the weekend.

I couldn’t sleep at all last night. I coughed all night due to allergies. If I were to catch something now, I’d be through. The Governor today announced there would be no school for the remainder of the school year for WV. In an interview with FOX News, he wouldn’t open the state unless he was confident of the safety of our citizens.

The infections are up to 914, with 26th deaths. There is now a plan in place for hospitals to start applying and working towards opening for non-selective procedures. They must first show they can follow new safety guidelines to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Some State Employees will be heading back to work, but only if they are field workers or they can keep office staff to a minimum.

Well, it looks like our family of seven may be increased to eight. No, we are not pregnant. Our oldest son’s girlfriend just got kicked out of her house and is wanting to come live with us. We have a family home next to where he was going to go to college, so maybe we will get it in shape, and they can move there? Not sure how this is all going to play out, so wish us luck.
